Tips to Choose the Right Medicare Plan

If you live in Arizona, keep these factors in mind as you compare options:

  • Doctors & Hospitals: Confirm your providers are in-network.
  • Prescriptions: Make sure your meds are on the plan’s formulary at pharmacies you use.
  • Total Cost: Look at premium plus copays/coinsurance and the plan’s maximum out-of-pocket (MOOP).
  • Extras You’ll Use: Dental, vision, hearing, fitness, OTC allowances, transportation, etc.
  • Travel & Lifestyle: If you split time between states, check rules for out-of-area care.
